#1 Weight Loss Progam of the Future: HIIT Chair Exercising

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) has become very popular and for good reason. It keeps your heart rate up and burns more calories which equals massive weight loss in a short time. HITT is a training technique where you give 100% effort with quick, intense burst of exercise followed by short or active recovery periods.

The days of slow paced long boring cardio and strength training such as effortlessly, riding the treadmill-elliptical or going for a walk are over. That is if you want to lose weight fast and get amazing results quickly. HITT training is definitely here to stay.

While HITT undoubtedly provides awesome results, because of the high intensity and vigorous movements unfortunately  there is a cost at some point your body will pay. The jumping up and down, hopping on and off the floor, sharp side to side and back and forth movements will cause serious, mild  or just bothersome injuries. Your upper and lower body weight combined with the intensity of the movements are a recipe for disaster sooner or later.

So how do you offset receiving the benefits of HITT while making the exercises safe and effective. The answer is HITT chair exercising. Most of the popular standing HITT exercises can be transformed into fat burning, quick weight loss chair exercises while reducing the stress on your ligament, tendons and joints (knees, ankles, back, etc.). Jumping jacks, sprints, or bootcamp exercises can be done sitting with the same results while being much safer. Because you are sitting it reduces half of your bodyweight on your lower body so the powerful movements are not as detrimental.

As a personal trainer I have trained clients with great results using HITT sitting and standing and have had great results both ways. However, the sitting exercises provided much less chance of injuries.
